FAQ
Clear answers. Zero fluff. Click a question to expand.
What information do you need from us to get started?
Submit the job through our submission form with your drawings and a clear scope of what you want designed.
The more complete your submission (heights, access, constraints, staging, obstructions), the faster we can deliver and the fewer clarifications we’ll need.
Are marked-up plans acceptable, or do we need to write everything out?
Marked-up plans are ideal. If you can mark access points, working heights, and any “no-go” areas or constraints, it speeds everything up.
You don’t need to rewrite everything separately, just follow the submission prompts and include as much detail as possible.
Can we submit photos and measurements instead of plans?
Yes, as long as the photos are clear and the measurements are complete, including any obstructions and access constraints.
For complex geometry or higher-risk builds, drawings are strongly recommended to reduce revisions and assumptions.
What file formats can we upload, and is there a size limit?
PDF is best. We can also work with DWG, clear JPG/PNG photos, and sketches.
The upload limit is 100MB.
How do revisions work?
Each plan includes one revision.
Minor tweaks are generally fine. If a change is substantial, or if the revision is driven by missing or incorrect information in the original submission, it may be treated as an additional credit.
What counts as a “minor tweak” vs a scope change?
Minor tweak means adjustments that keep the same design intent and footprint, like small dimension shifts, adding a missing toe-board note, adjusting a bay length, minor access changes, or small constraint updates.
Scope change means the job effectively becomes a redesign, for example: new build stage, major geometry change, different access method, significant height/coverage change, new constraints that alter the structure, or changes caused by incomplete/incorrect site details.
If it’s borderline, we’ll tell you upfront before proceeding.
Do credits roll over, and are they transferable?
Credits roll over and are banked, there’s no expiry.
Credits are not transferable between clients.
Where technical sign-off applies, it will require 2 additional credits.
How fast is turnaround?
Turnaround depends on the plan you’re on, please refer to your plan specifics.
We operate 24/7, so you’ll often see work returned ahead of standard business-hours workflows.
Will you include design notes and build guidance?
Yes. We include clear notes to support build intent, assumptions, constraints, and any critical items that need confirmation on site.
What standards do you design to?
We design with relevant scaffold standards in mind, including AS/NZS 1576, as well as applicable US and EU/UK scaffold standards where required.
Who holds responsibility for final safety and installation?
Final responsibility rests with the installer. All plans must be reviewed against real site conditions before installation.
Do you offer engineering / technical sign-off?
Coming soon. When available, sign-off will be completed by a suitably qualified local engineer for Australia and New Zealand, where applicable.
Where technical sign-off applies, it will require 2 additional credits.
Can we contact you if we need to clarify something?
Yes, you can reach us directly. For the fastest outcome, submit the job first, then contact us referencing the submission so we can respond with full context.
